More than being clean and organized, your kitchen needs to be a place that you feel at home. Good lighting and ample storage space can make all the difference in creating a kitchen that you actually want to cook in.

When I was a first time home buyer, a larger kitchen with enough storage was a big priority for my new home. There were several houses I looked at but ultimately decided against based on the kitchen.
